This week athletes will complete the dead lift series. Today they will participate in a crossfit style turkey trot.

Thursday, November 20th, 2014

Today athletes will focus on their cardiovascular as they partner up and focus on Sumo deadlift high pulls.

5 rounds:
Air Dyne 10 cal
AMRAP SDHP

Athlete 1 works on completing 10 calories while athlete 2 does AMRAP SDHP. Score =SDHP. There will be a cap on AD.

Tuesday, November 18th, 2014

This week we will be focusing on the sumo deadlift high pull. Athletes will learn the movement with a kettle bell and a bar.

3 Rounds:
12 Double Unders
9 Pbar Dips
6 SDHP
Partner one does first movement while partner 2 does lunges. Switch after each movement.

Tuesday was a huge success at Sports Time! Back to business this week with deadlifts using the bar.

Today athletes will continue to focus on the dead lift position by using a kettle bell.

12 Sit ups (with kb)

This week we will be focusing on the deadlift. Athletes will learn this most frequently used functional movement.

AMRAP 12
6 deadlift
6 kettle bell swings
8 lunges (kb)
