This week we will be focusing on “The Squat.” We will be emphasizing on proper form and what makes this movement “functional.”

Tuesday and Thursday, September 23rd & 25th, 2014

This week we will finish up our physical testing. Last week we completed our gymnastics portion and this week we will move on to Metabolic Conditioning and Strength testing. If there are any kids who did not complete their gymnastics testing last week, they will finish it up this week.

Tuesday, September 16th and Thursday September 18th, 2014

This week, kids will have their CrossFit Kids physical test. The test will consists of four mini WODs. We will use these workouts to gauge their physical performance throughout the year. As a school teacher, I understand that the word “test” can be alarming to kids. Let them know this is just another WOD and to have fun as we always do in class! Contact me if you have any questions.

Patriot Day:
CrossFit Kids has been busy this week as we prepare towards kids physical tests next week. This will be a benchmark for all kids and will be tested 2 additional times throughout the 2014-2015 program year.

Hearts: OH Squats (Plate)
Clubs: HR pushups (off plate)
Diamonds: Weighted Sit ups
Jokers: 15 burpees
